Easter/Conference Weekend

Yah!  For fun weekends.  Easter was great with the family and the little kids had a Easter egg hunt, and Conference was great.  Best of all I got to sit down and listen to my Mission President speak at General Conference.  How I have missed Zone Conferences because I missed hearing his inspiring words, and so to hear him speak again was such a tender mercy!!  I remember one time I sat down with him for an interview and I was a little worried about my progression and asked him "how do I know if I am doing enough or living righteously to make it to the Celestial Kingdom?"  His answer was with a question. "Do you have a Temple Recommend, are you worthy of it?"  I answered "yes."
"Then you are doing what you need."  That did two things for me.  One, made me realize how important being worthy to enter the temple is and having your recommend.  Two, that I am on the right track and that I should strive with all my strength to stay on the track, and improve as I move down it.  I am so grateful for our Priesthood leaders, and for Conference, and most of all the Atonement, without It I would be lost, I know this, and I know the Savior is our Advocate with the Father and only through him we can enter into His presence.  This makes us all beggars, and none are better than the next.  I am grateful for these annual and semi-annual and even weekly reminders.
